Buchanan: Trump Could Win Working Class Dems

by PAM KEY22 Dec 2015287

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” former Nixon and Reagan aide and conservative commentator Pat Buchanan said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump could do well among blue-collar Democratic voters who are concerned about the border and unhappy with Bill Clinton-era trade deals.

Buchanan said, “My view about Donald Trump is he’s got some real capabilities I think to break out from the normal pattern of  basically moderate conservative Republican against centrist Democrat. Part of that I think is his issue with the border, which reaches across party lines, and secondly his issue on trade against NAFTA and GATT and these trade deals. If you run against NAFTA and GATT and hang them around Hillary Clinton’s neck in Pennsylvania and Ohio and Michigan I think you could do very well there among working class Democrats.”

On working class African-American voters he added, “A lot of working class black folks and middle class black folks are interested in a far better economy than we’ve got now and there’s no doubt that The Donald has been a job creator in his own sphere.”

On working class Hispanic voters, “I’m not sure American citizens who are Hispanics want to have folks walking across the border and taking the jobs that would otherwise go to them.”

Clinton World ‘Stunned’ by ‘Non-reaction’ to Trump’s ‘Vulgarity’

Reuters

by BREITBART NEWS22 Dec 20151,622

The following appeared in The Hill:

Donald Trump’s public mocking of Hillary Clinton has renewed criticisms of crass, sexist comments by the Republican presidential front-runner.

Clinton’s campaign on Tuesday decided against a frontal attack, with communications director Jennifer Palmieri offering inviting others on Twitter to repudiate Trump’s comments.

But behind the scenes, Team Clinton saw the remarks at a Monday rally as a new low, and some allies predicted they would lead to his demise.

“We are watching the Donald melt down,” predicted Ellen Tauscher, the former congresswoman who served as undersecretary for Arms Control and International Security Affairs under Clinton.

“His racist, sexist, xenophobic rants are now wearing on people generally,” she said.

“Even the folks caught up in the celebrity culture that thought these performances were funny initially, which is stunning, now realize these comments seem predictable and pathetic,” Tauscher added. “What the Donald seems to miss, as he claims he loves women, is that this is a historic election for women and they are done with the juvenile, prurient, potty talk behavior.”

Other political observers contacted by The Hill weren’t so sure.

Trump has a history of attacks on both men and women — notably GOP presidential rival Carly Fiorina and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Rubio: I Missed Omnibus Bill Because I Was Running to Ensure We Don’t Have Bills Like It In the Future

by IAN HANCHETT22 Dec 2015160

Florida Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) stated that he missed the vote on the omnibus bill because “I was doing something, and that is running for president so we don’t have to keep doing this in the future” on Tuesday’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel.

Rubio said the outcome was “predetermined.” He added, “we are going to win this election, so the American people are no longer subjected to these kind of votes where the outcome is already predetermined, and at the end of the day, it’s an issue there was no transparency on.”

When pressed on why he didn’t show up, Rubio responded, “I was doing something, and that is running for president so we don’t have to keep doing this in the future. I want to win this race so that we have a president that doesn’t force us to take the garbage that was in that omnibus that was passed last week. A lot of those things that are in that bill are because we have a president that will not sign it unless it has his pet projects, and the things that it had in there like, for example, no changes whatsoever to the Syrian refugee process, which poses a danger to the United States. I’m running to win, so that we have a president that no longer forces upon us votes of this kind, and that’s what I was out there doing, and I’m going to continue to do, because I want to win this race so we no longer are faced with these…choices when it comes to the future of our country.”

RUSH: Coining the Term "Undocumented Democrats"

I've Been Properly Credited for Coining the Term "Undocumented Democrats"

December 22, 2015

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: The Weekly Standard has a piece in it that, very, very rarely has this ever happened to me.  In fact, I can't ever remember it happening.  I'm sure it has, 'cause it's been 27 years I've been doing this.  The headline of this -- and it's not a hit piece.  It's not a criticism.  The headline's gonna mislead you.  The headline is:  "No, Ted Cruz Did Not Invent the Term 'Undocumented Democrat.'"

Apparently Senator Cruz has been running around, after this spat with Marco Rubio on immigration and amnesty and legalization, Cruz has been using the term "undocumented Democrat" instead of "illegal alien" as a means of demonstrating what the Democrats' interest in this whole thing is.  So, now that you know that, here's the Weekly Standard story.

"Consider: In his current quest to out-Trump Trump, Ted Cruz has begun referring to illegal immigrants as 'undocumented Democrats.' This is hardly an original epithet; the phrase has been a staple of the Rush Limbaugh program for at least five years. (The joke migrated to a Jay Leno monologue in 2013 as well.) If there's any story here, it's that Cruz is making a strategic decision to appeal to dittoheads by lifting Rush's language. That is significant insofar as while Limbaugh has not endorsed Trump, he has tended to be very, very friendly towards the real estate mogul on his radio show."

"OK, so perhaps it's too much to ask for Times and NPR reporters to listen to Rush regularly, though given that he remains a singular figure on the right, it would certainly bolster their reporting if they tuned in every now and again. But this is a revealing episode, in that it shows how little many in the mainstream media understand about the American right. This isn't an example of journalists consciously skewing a story; rather, these two reporters at two of the most prestigious news organizations in the United States were simply unaware of the term, because they know nothing of Limbaugh."

Well, here's what's happening is that Cruz is being crucified.  The media can't believe that Cruz would actually call 'em undocumented Democrats.  That's not what they are. They're illegal aliens, they're brilliant people, they're acts of love or whatever they are.  And the Weekly Standard guy's point is, wait a minute, you idiot reporters, do you not know that this term has been floating around for five years and that Cruz is lifting it?  And that's not a criticism.  This guy's criticism is of the reporters upset at Cruz because they are blind.  They willingly ignore the news and the happenings, the thoughts, the fears, all of that of over half the people in this country, i.e., the American right.

So, again, Weekly Standard story: "This isn't an example of journalists consciously skewing a story; rather, these two reporters at two of the most prestigious news organizations in the United States were simply unaware of the term, because they know nothing of Limbaugh, a massive success whose ratings are roughly on-par with Morning Edition. (Nor, apparently, do they know much about googling; had either reporter simply searched the term 'undocumented Democrat,' they would have seen that Cruz hardly invented it. Indeed, Iowa congressman Steve King, who has endorsed Cruz, used the term in an interview this spring.) And by the way, when Cruz perhaps takes it a step further and starts referring to 'Anchor Democrats,' know that he didn't invent that term either."

I mention this to you because I'm not aware of having been credited. You know, Gorbasm, invented that word, feminazi, invented that word, now part of the American lexicon. (interruption) Well, yes, yes, yes, in some corners and in some bedrooms I do get credit for the term "feminazi," you're right.  But I wouldn't say credit, Mr. Snerdley.  It's more like blame.  I mean, they don't say that happily.  They don't like the term.  But Gorbasm, that was one of the early inventions or creations here.  And of course it corrects the Drive-Bys before I even have the chance to or even the inclination to.

But I'll tell you what it is.  It's a subtle move by Cruz because it's the only reason that the Democrats support this.  It's not compassion.  It's not humanitarianism.  It's none of that.  I'll say it again.  The Democrat Party requires a dependent and permanent underclass. Now, people in that underclass can improve and move out of it, but they need to be replaced.  The Democrat Party cannot survive if the population as a whole improves itself economically to the point of not being dependent on government.  If that were to ever happen, it'd be the end of the Democrat Party as we know it today.  So they need a permanent underclass.  They need permanent poor people, uneducated people.  And the greater challenge speaking English, the better.  The more dependent, the less educated, the less worldly, the better.  It doesn't matter what the impact on the country is.  All that matters is keeping Democrats in power.  'Cause the Democrats know they're never gonna live where these people live.  So they're never gonna be affected by this, in their own thinking, in their own minds.

They're never gonna live in barrios. They're never gonna live in ghettos. They're never gonna live in inner cities. They're not gonna live where these people that they bring in the country are gonna end up being.  And they're not gonna hire them, not gonna be around 'em at all.  That's for the rest of us to deal with.  They're gonna be insulated, but they need that permanent underclass.  That's why I proposed, "Hey, look, I would support amnesty, I will join the Democrats, I will join, I will change. In fact I promised to do this, I promised to guarantee a shift in support among my listeners, sizable number, if amnesty had a lasting provision in it that no recipient of amnesty could vote for 25 years."  Call it a poison pill, I wasn't doing anything other than illustrating the truth.

You put in a provision that the newly amnetized, for lack all of better term, can't vote for 25 years, and, bingo, Democrats stop caring about them.  There's no compassion.  There's no humanitarianism.  Not one person, Republican or Democrat, ever called me on that.  And let me tell you something.  If I were at any day in the future to announce that I've changed my mind and now support comprehensive immigration reform and a path to citizenship with no provisos, they'll be all over me.  They'll call, they'll ask me to join them doing things here, they will celebrate, all of a sudden I become one of the greatest guys in the country.  But when I threw in the requirement they can't vote for 25 years, I was universally, totally ignored by everybody, Democrat, Republican, independent, communist, fascist, socialist, you name it, I didn't hear from one.

Busloads of migrant children fleeing Central America continue arriving at Texas shelters

Listen To Military Veteran Talk Radio
Published December 22, 2015
A recent influx of migrant children—10,000 just within the last two months, compared to the 34,000 children who arrived the last fiscal year—has made temporary placement a priority.
ROCKWALL COUNTY, TEXAS –  Some 170 plus undocumented children from Central America will spend the holidays at Sabine Creek Ranch in Rockwall County, the second facility in north Texas to provide temporary shelter to the now hundreds of children in federal custody.
The 300-bed church camp located 30 miles east of downtown Dallas typically hosts sets of smiling youth groups. But for the next few weeks, the camp will house mostly boys and some girls, ages 12 to 17, primarily from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, as well as a team of support care workers including nursing staff, clinicians and security.
“We needed to bring additional facilities online,” said Andrea Helling, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The federal government works with temporary shelters in multiple states within 250 miles of the border. But a recent influx of migrant children—10,000 just within the last two months, compared to the 34,000 children who arrived the last fiscal year—has made temporary placement a priority.
“It’s a complex, crazy issue,” said Rockwall County Judge David Sweet, who emphasized that county resources were not being used to house the children.
Sweet and other local and federal officials toured the facility, including the on-site command center which has five large TV monitors that track movement into and out of the camps. It also logs all kinds of data, from who is suffering from headaches to who has head lice.
Sweet said county officials asked “a ton and ton of questions” of the BCFS Health and Human Services’ Emergency Management Division, the San Antonio-based nonprofit contracted to handle the migrant children.
There’s no clear answer as to why so many children are suddenly arriving at the border, though a BCFS official implied that drug cartels are using the children to distract U.S. Border Patrol officers. BCFS has budgeted care costs at $428 per day, per child — though the official said the amount spent so far is under cost.
For the migrant children – many of whom trekked to the U.S./Mexico border within the last few couple of weeks – the bus ride down the two-lane highway in rural Texas is just another part of their long journey. Most will be placed with a relative within the next 21 days, an HHS official said, and will then proceed through the immigration process.
Those not placed will move to another camp. A campsite in Ellis County, 45 minutes south of Dallas, received about 500 kids in early December and a third campsite is expected to open in Somervell County later this month.
In Rockwall County, camp staff welcomes children who arrive in buses by clapping and saying “bienvenidos.”
During a media tour this week, media was prohibited from talking to the children. Groups of children could be seen playing basketball. They were watched over closely by camp counselors and security. Inside, a row of Disney princesses decorated one wall of the girls’ dormitory lined with bunkbeds. A brightly-lit cross anchored a section of a worship building-turned-medical facility.
In another building, a handful of children watched the Disney cartoon “Tangled.” The activities and special meals, including Christmas tamales, are ways camp directors Ed and Sarah Walker hope to provide an active and safe experience for the children, many of whom escaped gang violence and economic hardships.
But not everyone has welcomed them with open arms. Though the community has been largely supportive, according to the Walkers, there have been small protests.
U.S. Rep. Joe Barton, a Republican who represents the area, said he was taken aback that no one was notified in advance that immigrant children would be housed in the temporary shelters near them.
“There was no public meeting organized in advance locally, and no ability to protest the decision,” he said in a statement. “My office was notified two days ago and, at my insistence, local officials were subsequently notified.”
But that’s a stark contrast from places like Murrieta, California, a town that became so angry that immigrant children were being housed there that protesters stopped buses carrying migrants and chanted “Go back home!”
Most in Rockwall County are nonchalant about the immigrants arriving there. Local churches have even donated gifts for the children.
Victor Trevizo, who owns a car dealership about a mile from the church camp, said there’s no need for extra caution.
“I’m fine with it,” said Trevizo, a Mexican immigrant from Chihuahua who came to the U.S. when he was a teenager.
The camp doesn’t get many visitors in December and is often dependent on donations through the down season. But the arrival of the children – at $60 a day per kid to pay for housing and food – has helped pay for a much-needed roof for the dining hall.
“This was very unexpected,” said Walker, who is also the director of the Camp/Sport Leadership Degree program at Dallas Baptist University. “But if you get a call, and you can help, you do that.”
The Walkers purchased the 330 acres now home to Sabine Creek Ranch in 2003 and held a press conference at the gates of the ranch Monday while a herd of cattle looked on.
“These kids are in a completely difficult life situation,” said Sarah Walker, who feels a deep sense of compassion for children navigating a new country alone. “We know that what we’re doing is what’s right.”

Trump Calls Hillary’s Bathroom Break ‘Disgusting,’ Says She ‘Got Schlonged’ by Obama in ’08

by Elizabeth Preza | 11:04 pm, December 21st, 2015

At a Michigan rally Monday, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump said it was “too disgusting” to talk about why Hillary Clinton vanished during Saturday’s Democratic Debate, and later said the Democratic frontrunner was “schlonged” by President Barack Obama in 2008.

“What happened to her? I’m watching the debate and she disappeared. Where did she go?” Trump asked, later adding he thought “she quit.”

Clinton was a minute or so late returning to the main stage during the debate in New Hampshire, reportedly due to a bathroom break. She walked to the podium with a simple “sorry,” garnering applause and laughter from the audience.

“I thought she gave up,” Trump restated. “They had to start the debate without her.”

“I know where she went, It’s disgusting,” Trump continued while the rally audience cheered. “I don’t want to talk about it. It’s too disgusting.”

Later, Trump expanded on his attack, launching into a vulgar retelling of Clinton’s 2008 defeat by Obama. “She was going to beat [Obama,] she was favored to win, and she got schlonged,” Trump said. “She lost, I mean she lost.’

Urban dictionary defines:

schlonged

To be cockslapped by a man with a large penis.

Donald Trump Demands Hillary Apology For Video Lies

by CHARLIE SPIERING21 Dec 20150

Billionaire presidential candidate Donald Trump is demanding an apology from Hillary Clinton for claiming that the Islamic State is using videos of his comments about Muslims to recruit fighters.

“You can be the messenger, I will demand an apology from Hillary,” Trump said in an interview with Today show host Matt Lauer this morning.

Trump pointed to Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri’s admission on Sunday that Clinton did not have a specific video in mind.

Trump says he’s not surprised Hillary lied about him.

“She should apologize. She lies about emails. She lies about Whitewater. she lies about everything,” Trump said. “She will be a disaster as president of the United States.”
