The Reuters news service has poured cold water on CNN’s overheated claim that the Secret Service warned Donald Trump’s campaign that his gun rights rhetoric seemed to threaten the safety of Hillary Clinton.
Reuters reported that “a federal official on Wednesday said the U.S. Secret Service had not formally spoken with Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Democratic rival Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.”
Trump gleefully broadcast Reuters’ refutation of the CNN article.
A BITTER GENERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN BEGINS
On Tuesday, Democrats, and many parts ofthe established media, claimed that Trump had casually threatened Hillary Clinton during an off-the-cuff campaign speech. This media-magnified claim — just like other claims, whether true or not — helps the Democrats’ push their narrative that Trump is too unstable to risk putting in the White House.
Here are Trump’s comments that Democrats used to create the media furor;
Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day, if Hillary gets to put her judges in, right now we’re tied.
CNN kept the controversy going Wednesday evening with a claim that Secret Service officials warned Trump’s campaign about the remarks. In an updated version of the article published at 8.30 pm, CNN claimed:

A US Secret Service official confirms to CNN that the USSS has spoken to the Trump campaign regarding his Second Amendment comments.
“There has been more than one conversation” on the topic, the official told CNN.
However, CNN also undermined its own 8.30 pm article by saying that “it’s unclear at what level in the campaign structure the conversations occurred.”
The Reuters article was published 8.57 pm, or almost 30 minutes later. Headlined, “Official: No formal Secret Service discussions with Trump camp on remark,” the Reuters article said:
A federal official on Wednesday said the U.S. Secret Service had not formally spoken with Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Democratic rival Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.
… Earlier CNN had reported that there had been multiple conversations between the campaign and the agency.
In the late afternoon, Trump had scoffed at the CNN’s claim of Secret Service concern.

Hillary Clinton needed to be physically helped up a moderate flight of stairs by her team of staffers and handlers, according to campaign-trail photos that made the rounds on the Internet Sunday.
Reuters and Getty photographs captured Hillary Clinton, 68, struggling to make it up the stairs, either as a result of her fragile body or perhaps because her well-documented brain injuries make it harder for her to transport herself through daily life activities. The photos gained wide circulation on the Internet Sunday. The photos were taken in February as Clinton was campaigning in South Carolina.

VIDEO: CLINTON SAYS SORRY, PRIVATE EMAIL WAS A MISTAKE
Breitbart News has extensively reported on Clinton’s various health problems, including what could be a lingering brain conditionthat appeared after she suffered a blood cot.
Donald Trump is hammering Clinton for “short-circuiting” when she had to answer questions about her private email scandal, which she clearly did not answer truthfully.
Breitbart’s Alex Swoyer reported in January:
Clinton’s disappearance from the debate stage last month left people speculating that the former First Lady took a long bathroom break, but now a law-enforcement source with inside connections is alleging that Clinton was missing from the stage due to health issues stemming from a previous brain injury.
These long-lasting symptoms stemming from a concussion and blood clot, according to a neurologist, suggest Clinton is suffering from post-concussion syndrome, which can severely impact her cognitive abilities.
All that said, however, Clinton’s campaign maintained to Breitbart News that she is in good health and can serve as President of the United States.
Clinton previously fell on the stairs in 2011:

She also fell in 2009 when she was going to President Obama’s White House, necessitating surgery.

POLICE BURTALITY: American recalls torture at hands of Mexican police: 'They beat me for hours'
He's says he is still regaining feeling in them three years after a four-hour beating with fists and rifle butts by municipal police in southern Mexico.
The officers tightened his handcuffs and then stood on them to inflict maximum damage to his hands, said Wooden, 46, who had set up a workshop in the hills outside the silver-mining city of Taxco along with his Mexican-born wife. Police detained him for allegedly disturbing the peace, but Wooden says the beating arose from a dispute with his neighbor, a former cop who claimed to belong to a local drug cartel.
"They beat me for close to four hours. Some would get tired and then others would come in. They were going to kill me and disappear me," said Wooden, who said he suffered nerve damage, broken ribs and injuries to his genitals.
He said what saved him was "divine intervention and the love that my family has for me." His wife, Carmen, waited outside the police station for hours until she was allowed to pay Wooden's 200-peso ($12 fine) and took him to a hospital after he was released.
Human rights groups say police torture remains all too common in Mexico, but Wooden's case from 2013 is unusual in two respects: He's an American citizen and he's won a court order for a criminal investigation into the beating.
A probe in 2014 by the governmental Human Rights Defense Commission in Guerrero state found that Taxco police illegally detained Wooden, contradicted themselves about how he sustained his injuries and essentially lied about their extent. It found that the American had been covered in bruises, scrapes and cuts.
The commission issued a directive that municipal authorities should punish those responsible and pay reparation.
After two years of no action, a federal judge on June 30 ordered Mexico's government to open a formal criminal investigation for torture and kidnapping in Wooden's case.
"This opens a new road, little explored and little used" to force authorities to investigate the thousands of torture complaints in Mexico, said Mario Santiago, a lawyer for the human rights group Idheas, which is representing Wooden. "We know there are hundreds or thousands of torture complaints all the time in the country. There is no investigation; these go unpunished."
Wooden, who had been living in Texas, was drawn to Taxco by its famed silver jewelry industry, which had been revived by American adventurer William Spratling in the 1930s. But in recent years, the colonial-era town south of Mexico City has been in the grip of drug cartels. In 2010, authorities discovered 55 rotting bodies that had been tossed into an abandoned mine shaft near Taxco.
Wooden said that as soon as he set up his shop, he began receiving threats from a neighbor who claimed to be a member of the Guerreros Unidos drug gang and demanded a 10,000-peso monthly protection payment.
When the neighbor got out a machete and threatened to send Wooden back to the United States in pieces, both men called the police, Wooden said. He said that when officers showed up, they went straight for Wooden, kicking and punching him to the ground. They arrested him for being drunk and disturbing the peace — allegations he denies.
Wooden is under no illusions about what could have happened to him: Taxco's police were so notorious that the federal government disarmed the whole force a year and a half after Wooden's arrest and handed policing over to federal officers.
The city's former police chief, Eruviel Salado Chavez, was arrested last month on charges of organized crime and kidnapping. He is accused of close ties with Guerreros Unidos, which is blamed for many of the 100 bodies found in mass graves around Taxco and the nearby city of Iguala. The federal government says 43 college students who disappeared in 2014 in Iguala were kidnapped by corrupt municipal police and turned over to Guerreros Unidos, which supposedly killed them.
"Part of what has protected me is that I'm a foreigner, and I have no fear," Wooden said. "What happened to me has happened to other people ... Whole families have disappeared in those situations."
He said that when he came to his senses in the jail cell after the beating, "I realized that there is dried blood on the floor, and it's not mine so much."
Mexico passed a law setting out punishment for police abuse in 1986 amid horror over the discovery of tortured bodies at an earthquake-damaged police headquarters. The law, on paper, was toughened in 1991, banning the use of testimony obtained under torture.
Still, scandals involving Mexican police, soldiers and marines keep mounting. And Wooden's case is an example of how hard it is to punish such abuses.
The artisan initially filed a criminal complaint after the beating. But he said he dropped the effort when a man at the magistrate's office pulled him aside, saying: "They're planning to disappear you from here if you continue to make noise and press charges.'"
Besides suffering physical damage, Wooden said some of his equipment was stolen. He and his wife left Taxco, fearing for their lives, and moved to other parts of Mexico. He said he's been unable to get new projects due to his injuries and a lack of money to buy materials.
Nobody has gone to jail for torturing Wooden. Two of the police officers got warnings and were required to take human rights classes, though Santiago said it's unclear if they did.
"There is no investigation, these go unpunished. What happened to him happened to a lot of people," said Santiago. "What we are looking for is structural changes, so these abuses don't continue to happen."

Exclusive — Donald J. Trump: ‘Guilty as Hell’ Hillary Clinton ‘Will Pay for Her Sins on Nov. 8’

Donald J. Trump, the presumptive 2016 GOP presidential nominee, told Breitbart News exclusively on Wednesday that his Democratic counterpart presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton is “guilty as hell” over the email scandal. And Trump says the voters will ensure that Clinton “will pay for her sins” by rejecting her at the ballot box.
“It’s a totally rigged system,” Trump said when asked to react to the news that FBI director James Comey announced that the bureau would not be recommending charges against Clinton on Tuesday. “She was guilty as hell. She’s guilty as can be. You look at what went on and it’s just point after point after point where she’s guilty, including the missing 30,000 emails. 30,000 emails were wiped clean! The server, there’s so many other aspects on which she’s guilty—and there’s so many other people who were guilty for far less. This is a tremendous miscarriage of justice.”
Comey announced during a press event on Tuesday that the FBI would not be recommending criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her home-brew email server. Despite that recommendation, Comey proceeded to detail how everything Clinton has said about this matter has been a lie. Specifically, Comey proved that Clinton did send and receive emails that were marked classified at the time, that Clinton did not provide all emails in a transparent manner to the State Department, and that Clinton’s attorneys did not review every single email. Those three points, in addition to being politically devastating for Clinton, were also instances where—as Breitbart News’s Joel Pollak has shown—she perjured herself under oath in testimony before Congress.
When asked about that, Trump told Breitbart News that it is clear Clinton “lied” to Congress during her testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
“Yes, she lied to Congress,” Trump said. “She lied to everybody. That’s what she does is she lies, and then she gets away with it. But the voters are going to end her lying. It’s going to come to a conclusion on Nov. 8.”
“She told tremendous lies,” he added.
Trump also believes that Clinton could face congressionally pushed charges if the House Select Committee on Benghazi, and the congressional leadership, decided to pursue charges.

“I think the Committee would have the option to do that, certainly,” Trump replied when asked if Congress should file charges against Clinton.
A spokesman for the Committee, which is chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), has not immediately responded to a request for comment from Breitbart News.
When asked whom he trusts more to hold Clinton accountable for her actions—Congress or the voters—Trump replied that Hillary Clinton will pay the ultimate price for her “sins” on election day.
“Hillary Clinton will be judged by the voters on Nov. 8,” Trump said. “She will fail. And listen, on Nov. 8, she will pay for her sins. She will fail.”
Trump also praised former House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who earlier on Wednesday during an interview on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM Channel 125 laid out how to change this travesty of justice that places even the power to appoint an independent special prosecutor with Loretta Lynch, the attorney general. Lynch, last week, had a secret meeting in Phoenix with former President Bill Clinton–Hillary’s husband–for which she has come under enormous political scrutiny. She has refused to appoint an impartial, not politically or personally motivated investigator in this matter–and now Hillary Clinton wants to keep her on as attorney general in the new administration. Issa, who has battled with the Department of Justice in this administration for its politically tainted motivations under now former Attorney General Eric Holder over Operation Fast and Furious, told Breitbart News Daily host Stephen K. Bannon that Congress must attach to must-pass legislation a provision that allows Congress to bring criminal charges against administration officials rather than relying on the administration to hold itself accountable.
Issa said during the show:
We do not have an independent justice system in the courts–in other words, the judges–if we do not have an independent system at the Department of Justice. And that’s what we saw yesterday. The Department of Justice cannot be subordinated to the president when it is enforcing laws by the president or his cabinet or his administration. That’s what has to be corrected by Congress. We have to create some teeth to what was once known as the Independent Consul because Congress or some other body must be able to bring criminal charges before the court, before the people, so they can react. Otherwise Lois Lerner gets a free pass, Eric Holder gets a free pass, and yes Hillary Clinton gets a free pass.
Issa asked the listeners of Breitbart News Daily and the voters across America to call Congress and demand that that such a measure that would grant Congress such power would be attached to a must-pass piece of legislation–and then force the president to choose to either shut down the government or agree to the measure allowing Congress to bring criminal charges against administration officials.
While Trump didn’t fully endorse Issa’s idea, he praised Issa as a great leader when asked about it during Wednesday’s Breitbart News exclusive interview.
“I have great respect for Congressman Issa,” Trump said. “And I can say that obviously the system is not working too well. He’s [Issa] been great. He’s been so helpful.”
More from Trump’s latest exclusive interview with Breitbart News is forthcoming.

A new Morning Consult poll published on Tuesday reveals presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s lead over presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump dropped to only one point within the margin of error.
Forty-one percent of voters surveyed said they prefer Clinton while 40 percent said they prefer Trump. However, Clinton’s one point lead is within the plus or minus two percentage point margin of error.
The previous Morning Consult poll had Clinton leading Trump by five points. This is the best showing the billionaire has had against Clinton in a Morning Consult head-to-head matchup since the primaries ended.
Independents preferred Trump over Clinton by one point, 33 percent to 32 percent.
As for Congressional races, 43 percent of voters said they will likely vote for a Democrat over a Republican.
The poll was conducted with 2,001 registered voters from June 30th through the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump suggested presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was bribing Attorney General Loretta Lynch during his campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday night.
“I think it’s a bribe!” Trump stated, reacting to a recent New York Times report where Clinton said she may keep Lynch on as Attorney General if she’s elected President of the United States.
“Democrats close to Mrs. Clinton say she may decide to retain Ms. Lynch, the nation’s first black woman to be attorney general,” the New York Times reported on Sunday – two days before FBI director James Comey suggested no criminal charges should be filed against Clinton for using a private email server during her time as Secretary of State.
“It’s a bribe!” Trump charged. “How can you say that?”
“I mean the Attorney General is sitting there saying, ‘If I get Hillary off the hook, I’m going to have four more years or eight more years, but if she loses, I’m out of a job.’ It’s a bribe. It’s a disgrace,” the presumptive Republican nominee challenged.
Trump spent most of his campaign rally speaking at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts about Comey’s press conference and the fact that no charges have been filed against Clinton.
“I thought – everybody thought – based on what was being said, she was guilty,” Trump alleged of his rival, saying it’s “really amazing” there won’t be any charges. “Today is the best evidence ever that we’ve seen that our system is absolutely, totally rigged.”

“Bernie Sanders was right about a couple of things, he’s right about the system being rigged!” Trump declared, defending Clinton’s primary challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). “He was waiting for the FBI primary.”
“He lost the FBI primary,” Trump joked. “Bernie, my poor Bernie!”
“I feel so badly for Bernie,” he added.
Trump said Comey called Clinton’s conduct extremely careless.
“We’re talking about serious stuff,” the billionaire added. “The laws are very explicit. Stupidity is not a reason you’re going to be innocent.”

FBI Recommends No Charges for Hillary Clinton over Email Server

by BREITBART NEWS5 Jul 20161,194
WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI won’t recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while secretary of state, agency Director James Comey said Tuesday, lifting a major legal threat to her presidential campaign.
Comey’s decision almost certainly brings the legal part of the issue to a close and removes the threat of criminal charges. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said last week that she would accept the recommendations of the FBI director and of career prosecutors.
“No charges are appropriate in this case,” Comey said in making his announcement.
But Comey made that statement after he delivered a blistering review of Clinton’s actions, saying the FBI found that 110 emails were sent or received on Clinton’s server containing classified information. He said Clinton and her aides were “extremely careless” and added that it was possible that people hostile to the U.S. had gained access to her personal email account.
Yet he added that after looking at similar circumstances, the agency believed that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”
The announcement came three days after the FBI interviewed Clinton for hours in a final step of its yearlong investigation into the possible mishandling of classified information.
Though his recommendation apparently ends the legal threat, it’s unlikely to wipe away many voters’ concerns about Clinton’s trustworthiness. And it probably won’t stop Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has called for criminal charges, from continuing to make the server a campaign issue.

Clnton’s personal email server, which she relied on exclusively for government and personal business, has dogged her campaign since The Associated Press revealed its existence in March 2015.
She has repeatedly said that no email she sent or received was marked classified, but the Justice Department began investigating last summer following a referral from the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence community.
The scrutiny was compounded by a critical audit in May from the State Department’s inspector general, the agency’s internal watchdog, which said that Clinton and her team ignored clear warnings from department officials that her email setup violated federal standards and could leave sensitive material vulnerable to hackers. Clinton declined to talk to the inspector general, but the audit said that she had feared “the personal being accessible” if she used a government email account.
The Clinton campaign said agents interviewed her this past Saturday for three and one-half hours at FBI headquarters. Agents had earlier interviewed top Clinton aides including her former State Department chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, and Huma Abedin, a longtime aide who now is the vice chairwoman of Clinton’s campaign.
Lynch on Friday said that she would accept whatever findings and recommendations were presented to her. Though she said she had already settled on that process, her statement came days after an impromptu meeting with Bill Clinton on her airplane in Phoenix that she acknowledged had led to questions about the neutrality of the investigation.

Washington Post: Trump’s America First Trade Message Has Hillary Clinton, Unions ‘Rattled’

iHeart.SmythRadio.com

by BREITBART NEWS4 Jul 2016933
This story first appeared in the Washington Post:
PHILADELPHIA — Three dozen union workers gathered outside city hall here on Thursday to rally against the global free-trade deals they believe have harmed Americans like them. Their candidate was Katie McGinty, the Democrats’ nominee for Senate in Pennsylvania. But their spiritual leader was Republican Donald Trump.
“He recognized there’s some problems we need to solve,” said McGinty, who is challenging Sen. Patrick J. Toomey (R), afree-trade advocate. “One, we have to stop bad trade agreements. . . . And two, we have to take the Chinese on when they manipulate their currency and dump goods in our markets.”
Just two days earlier, Trump had delivered a blistering speech at an aluminum recycling plant near Pittsburgh in which he called U.S. trade policies a “politician-made disaster” that has betrayed the working class. McGinty, surrounded by electricians, pipe fitters and steelworkers, declared that while Trump usually spouts “nonsense,” he had, in this case, “recognized a couple of truths.”
Of the many ways Trump, the GOP’s presumptive presidential nominee, has scrambled the 2016 campaign, it is his position on trade that has presented one of the most unexpected challenges for his rival, Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic nominee. In an election season animated by economic anxiety, Trump, a New York business mogul, bucked Republican orthodoxy and powerful business interests such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in an appeal to blue-collar Republicans that helped propel him t o victory in the GOP primaries.
Clinton, who scrambled to move left on trade during her tough primary fight against Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, now finds herself again facing attacks on the issue — this time from Trump. He used his Pittsburgh-area speech to disparage her association with a pair of major trade agreements — one negotiated by President Bill Clinton’s administration and the other by President Obama’s while she served as secretary of state.
For Hillary Clinton, the risk is not necessarily losing support directly to Trump but rather not inspiring enough enthusiasm among rank-and-file union workers, whose turnout and ground-level organizing have traditionally been crucial for Democrats.

Obama: I Am The Populist, Not Donald Trump

President Barack Obama defied the notion that Donald Trump was leading a populist revolution, quibbling with the media’s branding of the historic rise of the billionaire’s run for president.
“Maybe somebody can pull up in the dictionary quickly the phrase ‘populism’ but I’m not prepared to concede the notion that some of the rhetoric that’s been popping up is populist,” Obama said.
The president made his remarks at the end of a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Pena Neito after the North America Leaders’ Summit.
Obama argued that his 2008 campaign and his entire presidency was more about populism, arguing he cared more about poor people and working people.
“I suppose that makes me a populist,” he said confidently.
He alluded to people like Trump who worked against some of the policies pushed by liberal Democrats.
“They don’t suddenly become a populist because they say something controversial in order to win votes,” Obama said. “That’s not the measure of populism. That’s nativism or xenaphobia. Or worse. Or it’s just cynicism.”

Obama told reporters to “be careful” about referring to the rising anti-elitist sentiment fueled by dissidents to his liberal agenda as “populist.”
“Where have they been? Have they been on the front lines working on behalf of working people?” he asked.
He admitted however that Sen. Bernie Sanders was a populist, because he had “worked in the vineyard” of making life better for poor people.
Obama warned voters to avoid political figures offering simple solutions to fixing the economy.
“Sometimes there’s simple solutions out there, but I’ve been president for seven and a half years, and it turns out that’s pretty rare,” he said.

Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump slammed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who appeared at a campaign rally with presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to rally voters in Ohio on Monday.
In a press release titled “Sellout Warren,” Trump exposed Clinton’s differing positions on several policies Warren supports.
“As Clinton tries to salvage support among the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat Party, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has become a turncoat for the causes she supposedly supports,” Trump stated in the press release, pointing out Clinton and Warren’s differences on Wall Street, special interests and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
Trump’s statement continues:
While Warren claims that Wall Street businesses have too much influence in D.C., by paying “barely disguised bribes,” through campaign contributions. The Clinton campaign has accepted over $41 million this cycle from Wall Street interests. Warren is also campaigning for the author of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a deal she has routinely slammed. This is a trade deal that Clinton has expressed support for in over 45 public speeches. Warren’s campaigning for Clinton stands in stark contrast to the liberal ideals she once practiced. This sad attempt at pandering to the Sanders wing is another example of a typical political calculation by D.C. insiders. Mr. Trump has been against TPP from the start of his campaign because he understands how detrimental it would be to American workers. He will continue to fight for the American people and serve them over the special interests in Washington, D.C.
During the rally, Warren blasted Trump.
“Here’s what it boils down to,” Warrenstated during the rally. “Hillary has brains, she has guts, she has thick skin and steady hands, but most of all, she has a good heart and that’s what America needs, and that’s why I’m with her.”

Brexit: Britain Votes with Trump, against Hillary, Obama

British voters chose to “leave” the European Union on Thursday, defying the polls — and President Barack Obama, who had urged Britain to “remain” in the EU. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had also urged Britain to stay in the EU. Only Donald Trump had backed the campaign to leave.
Republican strategists had panned Trump’s decision to travel to the UK in the midst of campaign turmoil, and in the wake of his blistering attack on Hillary Clinton earlier this week.
Now, however, it looks like a risk that paid off handsomely, in the currency of foreign policy credibility.
Obama’s advice may have pushed some voters to “leave.” In April, he warned British voters they would be at the “back of the queue” in trade with the U.S. if they left the EU. Some, like Andrew Roberts, took offense, writing in the Wall Street Journal:
Surely—surely—this is an issue on which the British people, and they alone, have the right to decide, without the intervention of President Obama, who adopted his haughtiest professorial manner when lecturing us to stay in the EU, before making the naked threat that we would be sent “to the back of the queue” (i.e., the back of the line) in any future trade deals if we had the temerity to vote to leave.
Was my country at the back of the line when Winston Churchill promised in 1941 that in the event of a Japanese attack on the U.S., a British declaration of war on Japan would be made within the hour?
…
Were we at the back of the line on 9/11, or did we step forward immediately and instinctively as the very first of your allies to contribute troops to join you in the expulsion of the Taliban, al Qaeda’s hosts, from power in Afghanistan?
Or in Iraq two years later, was it the French or the Germans or the Belgians who stood and fought and bled beside you? Whatever views you might have over the rights or wrongs of that war, no one can deny that Britain was in its accustomed place: at the front of the line, in the firing line. So it is not right for President Obama now to threaten to send us to the back of the line.
Hillary Clinton also backed a “remain” vote in April, with a senior policy adviser issuing a statement on her behalf:
Hillary Clinton believes that transatlantic cooperation is essential, and that cooperation is strongest when Europe is united. She has always valued a strong United Kingdom in a strong EU. And she values a strong British voice in the EU.
Trump, who happens to be in Scotland toopen a golf resort, promised in May that leaving the EU would not put Britain at the “back of the queue,” and said: “I think if I were from Britain I would probably want to go back to a different system.” He reiterated that support last week, telling the Sunday Times: “I would personally be more inclined to leave, for a lot of reasons like having a lot less bureaucracy. … But I am not a British citizen. This is just my opinion.”

Hillary Clinton’s Policies Created Conditions for Rise of Islamic State

Americans are once again forced to face the threat of ISIS-inspired terrorism, and now it’s up to Donald Trump and the Republican leadership to make damn sure everyone knows how Hillary Clinton caused this mess.
One key to stopping this long international nightmare of Islamic terrorism will be reminding American voters every single day between now and November that the foreign policy decisions of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton caused the rise of ISIS.
The history is very clear. When Barack Obama took office in 2008 with Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State, one of his first moves on foreign policy was his New Beginning speech in Cairo, Egypt. With members of the Muslim Brotherhood in attendance, Pres. Obama claimed a new era had begun in America’s attitude toward Islam.
What followed was the “Arab Spring” uprisings throughout the region. Even though people initially hailed these as bold moves by people desperate for freedom, the “Arab Spring” was, in fact, a way for Islamists to dethrone the region’s more secular military dictators. Cairo itself made this clear: just months after Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton declared a new beginning, rebels removed Hosni Mubarak from office, and the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood came to power and installed brutal sharia law.
The single biggest factor that led to the rise of ISIS was the failed attempt to overthrow Syrian Pres. Bashar al-Assad. The United States openly called for the overthrow of Assad, even though it was clear that the result of that overthrow would be Islamist groups taking over.
Syria proved to be resistant to the Obama/Clinton calls for regime change. Instead of the quick overthrow that happened in Egypt, Assad, aided by the Russians and opposed by the U.S., held on – even as the United States was giving weapons to the so-called “rebels” that would eventually find their way into the hands of Islamist groups.
This power vacuum in Syria created the conditions for ISIS to rise. In Iraq, the continued withdrawals that happened under Hillary Clinton’s watch created another power vacuum that led to ISIS gaining more land and resources.

This interview, which I did with Clare Lopez from the Center for Security Policy, gives even more detail — in just five minutes.
The mainstream media has done nothing to explain this to the American people.
However, simply complaining about the mainstream media is not enough. The stakes are too high to let mere grumbling suffice.
No, what needs to happen is that the Donald Trump campaign and the Republican Party need to realize that the ball is in their court when it comes to bringing Americans the truth. Trump, his surrogates, his supporters, and every single Republican politician needs to take this responsibility seriously and lay out a factual case for the American people, as often as possible.
The real danger here is that Republicans are so used to losing the public relations battle that they give it up before it even starts. After years of being battered by the institutional left media complex, Republicans are too used to cowering and surrendering.

Exclusive — Secret Service Agent Book: Raging Hillary Clinton Threw Bible at Agent’s Colleague

Hillary Clinton once threw a Bible at the back of a Secret Service agent’s head, part of a pattern of unhinged rage that the now-presumptive Democratic nominee exhibited, as exposed for the first time in former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne’s grueling insider account of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Byrne’s forthcoming book Crisis of Character—in which he details how the Clintons operated during his time in the U.S. Secret Service, where he protected the first couple for eight years in the White House in the 1990s. During three of those years, he was posted right outside the Oval Office. The book comes out next week.
“The First Lady had a different sort of liveliness,” Byrne writes in an excerpt obtained exclusively by Breitbart News. “She once threw a Bible at an agent on her detail, hitting him in the back of the head. He bluntly let her know it wasn’t acceptable. He told me that story himself.”
Byrne goes on to report that for Secret Service agents, being assigned to Hillary Clinton’s detail “was a form of punishment handed down by passive-aggressive middle management.”
This pattern of rage from Clinton was exhibited, Byrne wrote in another part of the book, on a regular basis the more “at home she felt in the White House,” as Hillary “vented on everyone” and “it got worse” as time went on.
“Most of us knew to brace for her inevitable eruptions,” Byrne wrote. “They didn’t happen every day, but behind closed doors we learned about them fast. In public, she was everyone’s best friend. Privately, she was her normal self.”
At one point, Hillary Clinton—Byrne wrote—even told a Secret Service agent to “Go f— yourself” after telling another to “Go to hell!” Byrne wrote:

One day, UD [Uniformed Division] officers met to review events at their respective postS. A bewildered new officer arrived. ‘Hey you’ll never believe it, but I passed the First lady and she told me to go to hell!’ A second young officer responded, ‘You think that’s bad? I passed her on the West Colonnade, and all I said was ‘Good morning, First Lady.’ She told me, ‘Go f— yourself.’ ‘Are you serious?’ ‘Go f— yourself!’ He imitated her, pointing a finger.
At first, the unit’s sergeant challenged the story “but another officer soon corroborated” it. “Our sergeant was speechless,” Byrne writes. “We assured the rookie that this wasn’t the job’s normal atmosphere—at least, not under the previous administration. The sergeant fumed and called the watch commander, who pushed things up the Secret Service chain of command, who said they’d forward it to Chief of Staff Leon Panetta.”
At that point, the Secret Service actually “circulated a memo reminding everyone to report any ‘unusual’ First Family interaction to their supervisors.”
“The new guy (who had earned a Purple Heart fighting the Clintons’ war in Somalia) got an apology for the First Lady’s actions—but not directly from her of course,” Byrne writes.
In another excerpt obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, Byrne recounts an episode in which Hillary Clinton—in a screaming, obscenity-laced tantrum wherein she referred to Secret Service agents as “assholes”—vented to Bill Clinton that she thought the Secret Service was out to get them. The book reads:
‘They f—ed us, Bill!’ Hillary screamed. I stifled a laugh. The president tried his best to calm her down. He couldn’t. Hillary Clinton possessed no perspective. ‘We need to get rid of these assholes, Bill!’ She thought she was being tough—in command—but the issue commanded her. She fumed that the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division, my branch, disloyal leftovers from Papa Bush, conspired against the administration. ‘They’ve had it out for us from the beginning!’ she kept yelling.
Byrne detailed how Hillary Clinton would introduce him to VIPs as “one of my favorite officers, Gary Byrne” while putting “her hand on my shoulder for good measure,” even though she really didn’t care about the Secret Service agents. “But we were like furniture to them,” he wrote of how the Clintons treated the Secret Service.
“Hillary’s antics made my job interesting,” Byrne wrote. “She’d explode in my face without reservation or decorum…”

Byrne even wrote, “on the whim” of Hillary Clinton’s “wrath,” that “careers were made or broken.”
The book is scheduled to hit stores a week from Tuesday, and has already shot to the top of Amazon sales since the Drudge Report featured it at the top of the highly popular news aggregation site last week.
“The secret project is causing deep concern inside of Clinton’s campaign, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT,” the Drudge Report wrote in an exclusive. “Specific details of the agent’s confessional are being held under tight embargo.”
Now, here for the first time, Breitbart News brings forth these key excerpts with more on the way. Clinton’s team has been looking for a way to undermine Byrne and his book but has not yet been able to find any. It will basically be impossible for them to discredit him, since so many people allied with the Clintons have praised him throughout his illustrious military and law enforcement career.
When sent key parts of these excerpts and asked to react on Monday evening, however, Hillary Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill has not yet responded to a request for comment from Breitbart News.
Byrne, who has had a 29-year career as a law enforcement professional, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1982. He became part of the Air Force Security Police, whose assignments sometimes included guarding Air Force One. He received the Good Conduct Medal, the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, the AF Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and more. He started as a uniformed U.S. Secret Service Officer stationed at the White House from July 1991, at the end of the George H.W. Bush administration, until 1998—near the end of the Bill Clinton administration. He received awards and commendations regularly from his superiors, including a certificate of award from the Bill Clinton- appointed Secret Service Director. Clinton’s Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros, in December 1995, praised Byrne for his “firm authority” and said that the United States of America is “fortunate to have” him “in such a position of responsibility protecting the President.”

“Your knowledge of the [Oval] office, the President, and the presidency is enviable,” Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff wrote in a note praising Byrne.
In March 1996, the U.S. Secret Service issued a letter of commendation on “the professionalism and knowledge displayed by Officer Byrne” and in 1995 he received an evaluation from his superiors who praised him as a “Mature and dependable employee who is an exceptionally well-informed member of West Wing detail” and who “consistently performs his duties in a highly efficient and conscientious manner.”
Byrne knew the Clintons so well he was even subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, as he had intimate details of the president’s sexual encounters with the young intern from his station right outside the Oval Office for three years.

Paul Ryan Lies to O’Reilly: Says He Passed Bill to Pause Somali Refugee Program

by JULIA HAHN16 Jun 2016Washington D.C.25
In a Wednesday interview with Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly, House Speaker Paul Ryan made a demonstrably false declaration about his efforts to pause the Somali refugee program.
During the interview, O’Reilly criticized Ryan for failing to message on immigration controls and asked Ryan specifically about the Somali refugee crisis in Minnesota.
O’Reilly: “We have a Somali problem up in Minneapolis-St. Paul. [We] have a problem there and those are refugees from Somalia. And if, God forbid, some refugee comes in and blows people up, it’s going to be grisly.”
Ryan replied by explaining that he passed a bill to pause the refugee program. Ryan said: “Right. Right. That’s why– just so you know that’s why we passed a bill pausing this refugee program, because we don’t think the refugee program works. That’s why we don’t want it to continue right now.”
However, Ryan did no such thing. The bill Ryan championed did not in any way pause the Somali refugee program– it applied solely to refugees from Syria and Iraq.
The House bill would “not have affected the Somali refugee program at all,” said NumbersUSA Director of Government Relations Rosemary Jenks.

Jenks further noted that, “The bill the House passed would in no way pause the refugee program. They had the option of taking up the Babin bill, which would have paused the refugee program, but they refused to do that… All [the House bill] required was that the government sign off that individuals had been vetted. It didn’t even change the fact that we don’t have any information by which to vet them.”
As National Review’s Rich Lowry explained at the time, the Ryan-championed House bill “when you get down to it, it doesn’t do anything,” Lowry wrote in a piece entitled, “Uh, the House Bill to Pause the Syrian Refugee Program Doesn’t Really Pause the Syrian Refugee Program.”
Hot Air’s AllahPundit said that Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein’s bill was more substantive than the Ryan-backed bill because it was not strictly limited to refugees from Iraq and Syria:
When you compare the House GOP’s bill to what Senate Dems are pushing, it’s the Democratic bill that’s more substantive. Dianne Feinstein wants to add an exception to the current policy of waiving the visa requirement for visitors from France; the exception would require a visa for anyone who’s visited Iraq or Syria in the last five years.
Reports seem to confirm O’Reilly’s concerns about assimilation with regards to the Somali population of Minnesota.
Last year, filmmaker Ami Horowitz interviewed Muslim residents of the Cedar Riverside section of Minneapolis, many of whom said that they would prefer to live under Sharia law. As CBS has reported, “The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis is sometimes called ‘Little Mogadishu’” given that it is the “center of the nation’s largest concentration of Somalis.”
CBS notes that the area is also “fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters.” As the Minneapolis Star Tribune has reported, a Congressional report found that “Minnesota leads the nation in would-be ISIL terrorists from U.S.”

“During the last two years, more than 20 Somali-Americans from Minnesota have left to fight alongside terrorists under the banner of ISIL,” a report from 2015 states.
A separate report from the Star Tribunewrites:
No state in the country has provided more fresh young recruits to violent jihadist groups like Al-Shabab and, more recently, the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Over the last decade, dozens of mostly young men have abandoned the relative comfort and security of life in the Twin Cities to fight and, in many instances, die, in faraway lands… the exodus of local men abroad, its impact on the families and the Twin Cities Somali-American community — the largest in the U.S. — has been profound.
Moreover, our current immigration policy with Somali has imported certain views and values that are antithetical to Western values.
For instance, the prevalence rate of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) for women and between the ages of 15 and 59 is 98 percent in Somalia. The Population Reference Bureau estimates there are more than 75,000 women and girls at risk of FGM in the United States due solely to Somali immigration. In Minnesota, there are over 44,293 U.S. women and girls at risk of undergoing the barbaric, misogynistic, and anti-Western practice.
Moreover, in Somalia, homosexuality can be punishable by death. As the Washington Post writes, “The penal code stipulates prison, but in some southern regions, Islamic courts have imposed Sharia law and the death penalty.”
Between 2001 and 2014, the U.S. has permanently resettled 82,759 Somali nationals throughout the United States on green cards.

During the interview, O’Reilly pressed Ryan on his failure to message on immigration controls: “With all due respect, I didn’t even know Harry Reid was blocking that bill [on Iraqi and Syrian refugees]. Ya know, you guys got to get out there. And you’ve got to bang the drum on this thing. Like him or not, Trump bangs that drum. And you guys don’t. I mean, I didn’t know until you just told me tonight that Harry Reid—who is a villain—he blocked Kate’s Law, he’s trying to block this… You guys should be screaming at the top of your lungs.”

In response, Ryan laughed and said: “We passed the bill in January.”

Roger Stone Has Three Questions About Huma Abedin That Hillary WON’T Answer

Hillary Clinton can run from questions about her top aide Huma Abedin, but she can’t hide.
Earlier this week as America was trying to make sense of the deadliest case of Islamic terrorism on US soil since 9/11, I wrote a detailed article here at Breitbart News that laid out the clear factual case about Hillary Clinton’s top assistant Huma Abedin.
I showed how she has deep, clear, and inarguable connections to a Saudi Arabian official named Abdul Omar Naseef, a powerful Kingdom insider who has helped lead a group called the Muslim World League.
The Muslim World League is the huge “charity” whose goal is to spread Islam throughout the world and which has been connected to terror groups like Al Qaeda.
If that sounds like a serious accusation, you’re damn right it is.
I said that it’s time for Hillary Clinton to give Americans straight answers about Huma.
The reaction was typical: Hillary Clinton blew off questions from the press, who went into full protection mode to cover her. But like I always say, any day you’re attacked by both David Brock and Keith Olbermann is a good day.

Let’s make this very simple.
I’m going to give a list of three questions that any media outlet in the world can ask Hillary Clinton to give some straightforward answers to. All Hillary has to do is answer the questions and Americans are going to see that there is a very real connection here that should have them very worried that this woman has been anywhere near the White House, much less been Hillary’s top confidant for the last 20 years.
The three questions are very simple, very straightforward, and, frankly, anybody can research the answers themselves. They are:
1) What is Huma’s relationship with a Saudi Arabian official named Abdullah Omar Naseef?
2) Was he the founder of a Saudi charity called the Rabita Trust?
3) Right after 9/11, was the Rabita Trust put on a list by the U.S. government of groups that were funding terrorism?

That’s it. Three very simple questions.
Anybody else out there who is concerned about this issue can put pressure on Hillary Clinton and the media themselves, by using social media like Twitter and Facebook to say: “answer the three questions about Huma.”
Hillary Clinton is not some princess and America is not some Muslim kingdom — yet. She’s a public official, and as citizens, we have a right to know who she’s giving access to. We have a right to know who she could be sharing state secrets with.
We’re under deadly threat and the media had better start doing their job and informing us, rather than being Hillary Clinton’s defense team.
Answer the three questions about Huma, Hillary… because I’m not going to stop asking them.

Leaked DNC Files: Dems Planned to Hit Trump With Widely Discredited Hit Piece Falsely Accusing Him of Rape

Top allies of Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton planned to falsely accuse presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump of rape, a leaked file from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) shows.
The table of contents of the file shows that midway through the Democrats’ anti-Trump document is the supposed revelation that “Trump’s ex-wife accused him of rape.”
That entire section of the document includes references to a widely discredited hit piece from The Daily Beast’s Tim Mak.
“Donald Trump’s Ex-Wife Ivana Has Used The Words ‘Violated’ And ‘Rape’ To Describe a Sexual Encounter With Trump,” reads the subheading of that section.
Then it quotes from the headline and subheadline of Mak’s article from late July 2015. “Ex-Wife: Donald Trump Made Me Feel ‘Violated’ During Sex” was the headline and the sub-headline read: “Ivana Trump Once Accused The Real-Estate Tycoon Of ‘Rape’ Although She Later Clarified: Not In The ‘Criminal Sense.’”
The Democratic Party document repeated the accusation, which the Trump campaign was hit with in its earliest days as Mak and Fox News talk show host Megyn Kelly rushed the story on air before verifying its contents, over and over again.
The document quotes from Mak’s article:

It was an unfortunate turn of phrase for Trump—in more ways than one. Not only does the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination have a history of controversial remarks about sexual assault, but as it turns out, his ex- wife Ivana Trump once used ‘rape’ to describe an incident between them in 1989. She later said she felt ‘violated’ by the experience.
The document from the DNC quotes no other sources for the allegations but continues to go through claims about an interview regarding the story that Trump attorney Michael Cohen had given to The Daily Beast—and a follow-up on that part specifically, as reported by The Hill newspaper.
But the DNC document makes no mention of the fact that Ivana Trump—the woman who originally made the accusation in fury during divorce proceedings, but has since become friendly again with her ex-husband—said the accusations were not true the very next day.
Ivana Trump told CNN right after the story broke in The Daily Beast:
I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president.
Ironically, The Daily Beast never made any attempt to verify the story with Ivana Trump before rushing the 1,700-word smearto print back in July. What’s perhaps most important about this situation is that, despite the story being entirely disproven about Trump—disproven by his own ex-wife no less— the DNC wanted to send Trump through the exact same ringer again at one point or another during the forthcoming battle with Hillary Clinton. The Democrats clearly care not one bit about accuracy, since the Party’s official opposition research files on Trump don’t even include the full story—or the fact that said accusations have been discredited.
The DNC opposition research file stolen by Russian hackers and printed online by Gawker among others contains many other planned hits on Trump, but nothing substantial enough to cause Trump much worry. Trump, in a statement, even said he believes the DNC did this on their own to distract from Hillary Clinton’s ever-burgeoning email scandal.
“We believe it was the DNC that did the ‘hacking’ as a way to distract from the many issues facing their deeply flawed candidate and failed party leader,” Trump said. “Too bad the DNC doesn’t hack Crooked Hillary’s 33,000 missing emails.”

This playbook–falsely accusing Trump of rape–comes as new polling shows that Americans don’t view Hillary Clinton becoming the first woman to win the presidential nomination of either major U.S. political party to be “historic.” As Democrats and Hillary Clinton gear up to play the “woman card” over and over again against Trump, the Morning Consult poll–as Breitbart News previously reported–shows that they could care less about the phony Democratic “war on women” narrative.
