Roger Stone Defends Donald Trump Jr.

WH Correspondent

Self-proclaimed provocateur and political strategist, Roger Stone, vehemently denied allegations of collusion between then Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, his family, or his campaign, and Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election. Stone panned the allegations before a large audience of the D.C. Young Republicans at the Capitol Hill Club on Tuesday night. The crowd erupted with applause as Stone announced, “This is a fairytale. This is a canard. This is a steaming plate of bull***t.”

Stone said that neither the Democrats nor the House and Senate Intelligence committees had produced a scintilla of evidence of collusion between the Trump camp and the Russians. Stone blamed John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign, for the speculations, saying:
I give John Podesta some great credit because he’s the one who created this false narrative. Why? He had to distract from the fact that he and his brother, Tony, and Bill and Hillary Clinton were making millions of dollars from the oligarchs around Putin. What better way to distract from the fact that there was a Presidential candidate in bed with the Russians. There was a presidential candidate blackmail-able by the Russians. There was a Presidential candidate literally taking millions in speaking fees, contributions, and business deals, and that candidate was Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Stone took specific aim at the recent allegations that Donald Trump Jr. had nefarious dealings with Russian actors to advance his father’s political career. Stone called the allegations “despicable,” saying:
Someone credible comes to you and says they have evidence of your opponent’s wrongdoing and that evidence can be documented , then it would be malpractice not to meet with that person and hear what they have to say. In this particular case there was no information that any use and therefore this particular meeting had no result.

After joking with the audience that the next Trump family member to be targeted with allegations of a Russian conspiracy would be the Trump family dog for contact with a Russian Wolf-hound, Stone championed Donald Trump Jr. calling him a “most effective surrogate on behalf of his father and the Trump Pence ticket.” Stone lauded Donald Trump Jr.’s use of twitter to stand against political elites who from the beginning declared that Donald Trump had no chance of winning the Presidency.

The lawyers’ association to which Judge Gonzalo Curiel belongs was co-founded by a man who publicly bragged about Hispanics taking over California and all of the state’s governmental institutions–and insisted that whites should go back to Europe. The group, the California La Raza Lawyers Association, has been widely defended as “not pro-Mexican” by mainstream media outlets, though the outlets failed to report the inflammatory statements of the man listed first as a founder, Mario Obledo.

2010 Snopes report asserts that the first-listed co-founder of Judge Curiel’s group, Obledo, made the statements. They reported:

Mario Obledo was a co-founder of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF) and the La Raza Lawyers of California bar association, and he formerly served as California’s Secretary of Health and Welfare. We don’t know exactly when and where he first made his controversial statement about California’s becoming a “Hispanic state,” but he has confirmed he said it at least twice: during an appearance on Ray Briem’s talk radio show in May or June of 1998, and again on Tom Leykis’ talk radio show:

Obledo: “We’re going to take over all the political institutions of California. In five years the Hispanics are going to be the majority population of this state.”

Caller: “You also made the statement that California is going to become a Hispanic state, and if anyone doesn’t like it, they should leave. Did you say that?”

Obledo: “I did. They ought to go back to Europe.”

The statements were also reported by the New York Times in their 2010 obituary for Obledo. They wrote:

When someone put up a sign at the California border saying, “Illegal Immigration State,” he threatened to burn it down personally.

He ignited an explosive response in 1998 when he said in a radio interview that Hispanics were on the way to taking over all of California’s political institutions. He suggested that people who did not like it go back to Europe.

The Washington Post asserts that Judge Curiel is a member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, which is a local affiliate of the La Raza Lawyers Association of California.

The website for the group lists Mario Obledo as one of three co-founders. He is listed first.

Cartel Chronicles, Breitbart Texas

by CARTEL CHRONICLES18 Apr 2016392

Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas and Coahuila to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities.  The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. This article was written by “M.A. Navarro” from Ciudad Victoria.

A Mexican Marine has made a sport out of hunting top cartel bosses and has found an interesting past-time. The Marine began mocking top cartel bosses by dressing up recently arrested gunmen in lingerie while forcing them to kiss each other for the comedic entertainment of his team.

Breitbart Texas spoke with various top officials with the Mexican Navy to learn about the exploits of Erick “El Marino Loko — The Hammer or Sr.Thor” Morales Guevara, a marine that will sometimes bend the rules but will get the job done. A series of images leaked exclusively to this outlet reveal the handy work of the top operative who has found unique ways of getting under the skin of fearsome cartel bosses.

The small mallet held by the suspected cartel gunman is a reference to the Mexican Marine known as Sr. Thor or The Hammer

While the persons consulted for this article acknowledge that the “El Marino Loko’s methods are unorthodox, and some not exactly legal, the results speak for themselves. Morales’ team has been behind a series of important arrests along with cash, drug and weapon seizures, that severely impaired the operations of drug cartels, the sources said.

In Mexico’s underworld, manliness and masculinity are synonymous with bravery. For a cartel gunman to be paraded in such a “humiliating way” is a sure way to become famous in their eyes, a naval officer said.

At a little over 5 feet 7 inches, Morales Guevara was assigned to the border city of Reynosa in early 2015 with orders to arrest Julian “Comandante Toro” Loisa Salina, the regional leader for the Gulf Cartel. Taking the nickname Thor or Hammer, Morales Guevara was close to capturing Toro, but was suddenly sent down to the port city of Tampico. Once there, he switched his sights on a new target, Silvestre “El Chive” Haro Rodriguez. In Tampico, El Chive had been the top leader for the Gulf Cartel drawing the attention of the Hammer and his team.

During one of the top operations, Morales raided the house of Juvenal Hernandez Llano, the former Mayor of Altamira, Tamaulipas. Hernandez and his son revealed the location of one of the properties that El Chive used in the region. While raiding that property, Morales found the ashes of the cartel bosses father as well as a photograph commemorating his recent passing. Keeping with his tactics of finding unique ways to get under the skin of cartel bosses, Morales’ team defaced the picture leaving his calling card and rumors point to them having taken the ashes.

As part of the operation, Morales raided a house belonging to a top cartel leader known as “El Mimido” there the team gathered the gunmen, dressed them up in women’s lingerie and mocked them as he had them kiss each other in public to humiliate them. In that property, the Mexican marines found a large weapons cache that had been hidden in drums buried throughout the property.

Morales’ run in Tampico ended when the Gulf Cartel publicly accused him of corruption for stealing their weapons, stealing the ashes of El Chive’s father and having taken bribes. The banners making the accusations was all the excuse that some leading Mexican naval officers on the cartel’s payroll needed to get rid of The Hammer. They asked for him to be transferred out. Despite getting rid of him, Breitbart Texas reported that the top cartel boss known as El Chive was captured at a local hospital in Tampico. Most recently, Breitbart Texas reported on the capture of El Chive’s brother Marco Antonio Haro Rodriguez last week by Mexican federal authorities.

Mexican military officers and other federal officials being on the payroll of drug cartels has become a common occurrance along the Tamaulipas border. Breitbart Texas has reported in the past about how captured cartel bosses are able to bribe their way out of capture, even after fierce gun battles.

Citing operational security, Mexican officials did not specify what Morales is actually doing, but they stated that he is currently “having fun” in the Mexican state of Michoacan where he continues to capture and cross-dress his victims.

The leaked images of the Hammer’s handy work come at a time when Mexican authorities have drawn criticism from news outlets in that country over allegations of harsh treatment of cartel members. Last week, Breitbart Texas was the only U.S. outlet that, along with a few Mexican outlets, received and published a leaked video that captured the moment that a female soldier and female federal cop asphyxiate a female cartel member during an interrogation. The female has since been identified as Elvira Santibanez, who remains at a Mexican prison for her role as part of the Familia Michoacana drug cartel that had been operating in Guerrero.

The release of the video that shows a crying woman having her head wrapped with a trash bag during an interrogation caused an uproar in Mexico that resulted in Mexico’s Defense Secretary making a public apology.

BREAKING NEWS: CRUZ COULD LOSE TEXAS TO TRUMP

TEXAS

Cruz, Trump tied in KHOU Texas poll

HOUSTON -- A newly released poll shows Ted Cruz in a dead heat with Donald Trump among Republican primary voters in Texas, indicating the state’s junior senator may be destined for a disappointing showing in his home state on Super Tuesday. Cruz and Trump are tied at 32 percent in The Texas Tegna Poll of GOP voters, with Marco Rubio at 17 percent, John Kasich at 6 percent and Ben Carson at 5 percentNORTH CHARLESTON, SC - JANUARY 14: Republican presidential candidates (L-R) more
The poll results are especially noteworthy because the survey was conducted over the weekend, after Trump defeated Cruz in the South Carolina primary.
“If it’s correct, it’s over for Cruz and Trump is the nominee,” said Bob Stein, Rice University political scientist and KHOU political analyst

Cruz himself acknowledged the importance of the Texas primary in next week’s Super Tuesday voting, but he conspicuously avoided speculating on whether he would win a majority of GOP votes here.
“I believe next Tuesday will be the most important day in the entire presidential election,” Cruz said. “The crown jewel of super Tuesday is the great state of Texas.”
Cruz had hoped to win Texas by a substantial margin, offering him a trove of delegates before the primary map moves into states considered less receptive to his evangelical message. The primary schedule is also moving into winner-take-all states where second place finishers walk away empty handed.
“The way delegates are selected in Texas, he needs to get 50 percent or more of the vote in each of the state’s 36 congressional districts to sweep the state,” Stein said. “Most of the polls, including the ones that are just coming out today, seem to indicate he is not leading at 50 percent in any of these congressional districts.
“All the primaries from now on after Super Tuesday are winner take all,” Stein said.  “And the winner in the primaries has always been Donald Trump.”
Cruz and Trump effectively tied among a wide range of GOP voting groups, including men and women, older and younger voters, gun owners and non-gun owners and Republicans with and without college educations.
The poll also indicates comparatively few primary voters are still up for grabs, with only 6 percent declaring themselves uncommitted or undecided.
Hillary Clinton’s deep roots among Democrats in Texas – where her husband started building a network of supporters when he campaigned for George McGovern more than 40 years ago – are apparently paying off with a substantial lead over Bernie Sanders. Clinton is supported by 61 percent of surveyed Democrats compared to Sanders’ 32 percent.

According to a newly released poll, Hillary Clinton is supported by 61 percent of surveyed Democrats c
ompared to Bernie Sanders’ 32 percent.
The poll also found Texans almost evenly divided on the question of whether the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s replacement should be chosen by President Obama or the next president. About 41 percent of surveyed voters said the decision should be left to the next administration, while 38 percent would leave the choice to the current president. The other 21 percent said they didn’t know enough to offer an opinion.
The latest presidential primary poll results raise the stakes even higher for Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate on the campus of the University of Houston, offering Cruz a high-profile opportunity to score points against Trump before a hometown crowd and a nationwide audience.
METHODOLOGY: Of the 1,750 Texas adults interviewed in either English or Spanish, 1,531 were registered to vote in Texas. Of the registered voters, SurveyUSA identified 1,293 as likely to vote in the 11/08/16 general election for president, 645 who had either already voted in the Texas Republican primary or were certain to do so on or before 03/01/16, and 569 who had either already voted in the Texas Democratic primary or were certain to do so on or before 03/01/16. This research was conducted using blended sample, mixed mode. Respondents reachable on a home telephone were interviewed on their home telephone in the recorded voice of a professional announcer. Respondents not reachable on a home telephone were shown a questionnaire on their smartphone, tablet or other electronic device
