Laney was diagnosed with a rare form of
leukemia in May. Last Tuesday, her parents announced on Facebook that
the 8-year-old only has days or weeks to live.
On Saturday, thousands of carolers aiming to satisfy her dying wish to hear the community sing Christmas carols streamed to her house to sing to her.
The group had ended with “Happy Birthday,” since Laney had just turned 8-years-old the night before.
